The Invisible hand in the ongoing Election Petitions rulings!

Ugenya MP Hon. Chris Karan in Court today

Going by the courts verdict on the election petition filed after the general Election of 8th August 2017, any sane person can observe a well knitted pattern which points to an existence of an invisible hand.

Most nullification have been done by either Kikuyu or Kalenjin Judges who can be assumed are leaning towards Jubilee! and the nullified elections have predominantly affected Ruto’s critics or is aimed at elevating his friends who lost in the election by offering them another chance in a by-election.

From today’s ruling of parliamentary petition in Nandi Hills where Alfred Keter win has been nullified to Ugenya’s nullification of Chris Karan’s win  to Marakwet East Bowen’s nullification to Wambora in Embu and Awiti in Homa Bay; the pattern is the same. Either the leaders  whose win have been nullified are fierce critic of the dweller of Harambee House Annex or the their competitors are linked to the dweller of Harambee House Annex.

In contrast the friends who were declared winners in unclear circumstances and had glaring irregularities have had their petition upheld! From Aden Duale to Nixon Korir to Alfred Mutua have not been affected.

Like in Ugenya Constituency, the nullification was based  on the premise that ODM/Hon. Chris Karan was involved in a  Propaganda campaign that former MP David Ochieng was a jubilee mole and was involved in the inhumane assassination of Chris Musando and  this made David to loose votes; no number of votes was presented to have been lost nor any witness presented who said that he/she changed his/her mind  due to the propaganda!

But all said, we dont know what will happen to Embakasi East petition where,  Babu Owino’s win, the most unwanted NASA MP by the Jubilee, is being challenged by one Mureithi !The script might just be the same!

One thing i can bet is that Ugenya and Homa Bay will go back to the rightfull owners that Hon. Chris Karan and Governor Cyprian Awiti!
